Japan Tu-Ka unveils the bone phone.

TOKYO, (AFP) - Japanese telecom carriers, pioneers of Internet-capable and picture-snapping handsets, have now come up with the world's first mobile phone that enables users to listen to calls inside their heads -- by conducting sound through bone.

I have tested the phone in a shop and it's quite an experience. Very impressive but still a bit useless as it is employed. It makes the phone quite big and therefor it's digital camera less which is a shame on a japanese phone.
I can't wait to see other applications of the system though.

Me too. I could not hear a single word at Hachiko Shibuya last night my present keitai model, au. My office DoCoMo Foma keitai is no better in noise polluted Kanto.
