Rummaging about my phone's TuneIn app, I stumbled upon a station called "Radio Veronica" and lots of long buried memories came back:



Radio Veronica was an illegal "pirate radio station". They broadcasted from ships in international waters in front of the Dutch coast in the 1960ies and 70ies IIRC. Wild story with bombs and violence IIRC. Guess, today's Radio Veronica has little to nothing to do with the original.
