Nouvelle Vague

Not sure I can forgive you for this France:

And lots more. :puke:

Search on you tube for nouvelle vague and choose a great song of your choice to see what they have done with it. Worse than the chirpy stylophonesque versions I hear in Max Valu supermarket.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

- Macbeth (Act 5, Scene 5)

You need to link video reference numbers, not the playlist identifier.

A satisfying number of those tracks have been blocked on copyright grounds.

Frankly, I am amazed that they have managed to so concisely encapsulate the very worst elements of the Bossa Nova movement.
Royalties will still be going to the original composers, without any responsibility for this particular artistic manifestation.

Also, France doesn't care what your opinion is.

More satisfactory Bossa Nova

You mean that you never had any intention of even trying to forgive?

I dunno man...there is not much worse than that shit...I'm a bit more annoyed by the J-equivalent of this. Female whisper vocals, Engrish covers.... played at a volume that is confusingly played slightly above BGM levels.

TBH, I am not sure, if my first band, at age 15 or 16, sounded much better, so I might be guilty of this as well :)

We Dutch call this sound that is played in stores something of the equivalent of "musac".

Well then you Dutch are justified in getting very very angry about Major General Squier commercialising your word back in 1934.

Holy cow, didn't know it was a trademark.

I always thought it was a combination of the words "muziek" and "zak", the latter having negative connotations.
