I've noticed subtle shifts de-emphasizing "booth bimbos" at Japanese tech shows in the past couple of years, but race queens are the sacred 巫女/shrine maidens of the Japanese track, are they not?

Heard it on LBC today, though the lady they interviewed who had made a documentary about grid girls said she thought they could fill a fuller function, like use their brains as well as their boobs to make the events interesting.
