Logan Paul is a POS but the cunts using his name and stunt to voice their 'objections' and 'concern' and collect thousands more viewerrs. collecting money for views along the way, are fucking hypocrites.

And I'm going to break with all the stereotypical noise about how terrible it is for gaijin to make inappropriate vids about the suicide forest to state that if the Japanese didn't have an underlying acceptance of committing suicide in public places, then less people would know about it and go and film there. Suicide is accepted far more as a viable way out in cuntries like Japan and Korea than it is in many other societies. This is a problem of those societies that make it more acceptable. It's as much part of traditional Jp culture as taking old people to go and starve to death/die in the cold on mountains. That was acceptable not so long ago.The whole 'honourable' notion.

Killing yourself over failed tests isn't uncommon in Korea for example. The ultimate stupid face saving just like some of it going on in Japan including at the suicide forest. The people who jump in front of vehicles inc trains to publicly kill themselves have more logic than western people understand. They want to fuck up the train timetable for everybody else. In most other cuntries suicide is a private experience, not one where you join the ranks of others going to public places. Get as pissed off as you like over this opinion and give a lecture on mental illness etc but I feel more sorry for people who go and kill themselves privately or if it is in a park, don't flock there in numbers.

There's more mass hysteria, copycat type psychology mixed in with bad cultural attitudes to these suicides than politically correct or simply trying to not be discriminatory westerners think. Yep I've known people back home who committed suicide and they did it with more dignity and awareness of others than people in Japan including the bloke on Logan POS' video who felt he had to join others and leave his stiff there for members of the public to find.

We is still a personal pronoun, it is just plural in form.

Signs you have been in Japan too long, Number 48662:

When avoiding taking responsibility, by presuming to speak for others acting for and under you, and claiming joint responsibility -- otherwise known as pointing the finger of blame wildly at the underlings which are under your control and direction -- not only seems like the better option, but also is so culturally preferred, that taking individual responsibility for a grave error is regarded as an act of selfishness, to be publicly disapproved of.

Spookily reminiscent of Take's "blame in general terms."

To be sure, had he said "we" I would have most likely accused him of evading responsibility. However the heavy use of "I" really jumped out at me.

I find Japan to be more the land of the instant excuse.

For once, I think I have to agree with Take! I often cringe when I see Japanese variety shows go abroad and act really foolish and boorish. And even though I do sometimes enjoy "Ite Q", I am so frustrated when Degawa goes to the US or Canada and does his shtick where he tries to ask for directions and hilariously fumbles with the English and makes a fool of himself and the poor person trying to help him. Or the ever obnoxious Imoto, who screams whenever she thinks it is appropriate and you see the look of despair or disgust on the poor people dealing with her.

More whataboutism. Always just about the weakest of all arguments.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Breaking story

Wallabies great George Smith has been arrested in Tokyo after he allegedly assaulted a taxi driver while drunk.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-01-17/g ... an/9337046
Smith, who played 111 Tests for Australia, has been charged with robbery resulting in bodily injury, which allegedly occurred on December 31 last year.
He denies the charges.
Tokyo Metropolitan Police allege that Smith took a taxi near his house in Fuchu city just after midnight and ran away without paying the 9830 yen ($110) fare.
A spokesman told the ABC that he tried to avoid paying the taxi fare just after midnight on December 31.
"He tried to run but the driver caught him," the officer told the ABC.
"He demanded him to pay the [fare] and after that he assaulted him and caused an injury.
"He is saying, 'I was drunk, I don't remember, I didn't do such a thing'."
The 37-year-old Smith is contracted to the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby, but he also plays with Japanese top-tier side Suntory Sungoliath during the Australian off-season.
In a statement to the ABC, Suntory confirmed he had been arrested but said it had not been able to find out any more information.
"We apologise from our heart to the victim and anyone affected," a spokesperson told the ABC.
"We're also very sorry for causing concern and trouble to many people.
"At the moment, he is under investigation and we have not been able to find out the details."

Although there are areas where backcountry activity is restricted, often for good reason, there is not a blanket ban on backcountry skiing nationwide. With the right knowledge, right equipment and right precautions, it is fantastic location for it. There is a small but vibrant industry where people make a living training customers in that knowledge and guiding them.

As far as the over-friendly attitude goes, I am sure everyone, including Take, is aware of the phenomenon of people taking on a persona and broadcasting a hyper version of themselves once there is a camera, or indeed a keyboard, involved.

Russian curler Alexander Krushelnitckii, who won bronze in this year’s mixed doubles competition in South Korea, faces evidence that he cheated is way to third place. On Tuesday, the International Olympic Committee announced that his second urine sample also tested positive for at least one use of the banned performance-enhancing substance meldonium.

Krushelnitckii reportedly told Russian officials that he fears someone at a training camp in Japan spiked his drink with meldonium

Just because it happened in Japan doesn't mean he "blames Japan." That being said, Japanese athletes spiking other's drinks and Russian doping are quite the rage recently.

Osaka: American man accused of confining missing woman seen carrying large bag
February 24, 2018
Tokyo Reporter Staff

https://www.tokyoreporter.com/2018/02/24/osaka-american-man-accused-of-confining-missing-woman-seen-carrying-large-bag/

OSAKA (TR) – Investigative sources with the Hyogo Prefectural Police have revealed that a 26-year-old American male in custody over the the disappearance of a missing woman was seen in surveillance camera footage carrying a large bag out of his accommodation in Higashinari Ward, reports NHK (Feb. 24).

On Thursday, police arrested Yevgeniy Vasilievich Bayraktar for allegedly confining the woman, a 27-year-old resident of Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, in the apartment. The suspect denies the allegations, telling police he has no knowledge of the matter.

大阪府大阪市東成区中道2-15-5

TOKYO REPORTER is the only news publication that has managed to get the suspect's name correct.... the rest are using his Russian middle name.

In Japanese, they report it as "バイラクタル・エフゲニー・ヴァシリエヴィチ" with "ヴァシリエヴィチ" as his family name.

In actual fact, his surname is of Turkish-origin and should be バイラクタル....

Therefore, as TR reports: "Yevgeniy Vasilievich Bayraktar" or in Japanese ought to be "バイラクタル容疑者" [ Bayraktar - suspect ]

Tokyo has a number of services that allow customers to dress like characters in the popular Nintendo video game “Mario Kart” while piloting go-karts through the capital.

Was just watching these guys driving around Aoyama while I was leaving work this evening thinking that they really need to wear helmets or someone is going to get a severe head injury. The karts need roll bars too.

Yep, you couldn't make this up - Aomori people like their brethren up around the Tohoku region aint noted for their intelligence or willingness to see things outside of their own inbred, skewed perspectives. They call writing on snow that melts 'graffiti' and treat it as if it has been done on buildings.

Yep, I believe it. It aint coincidence that a lot of the most narrow minded and thick Japanese come from Tohoku areas. Something to do with the same ol genes rattling around the limited gene pool there. No, they are not saints just because they had the nuclear meltdown and tsunamis in 2011.

Sad about that but I noted for people who have all sorts of local words to signify 'outsiders' they sure were happy for the rest of us including Japanese who don't come from there and are also 'outsiders' to put our hands in our pockets and help them. Obnoxious narrow cultures don't change because they had disasters happen to them.

“The worst thing about it was that there were no staff members or any information about what was going on. We didn’t even know what we were queuing for or whether we were queuing in the right place,” said Kim Yong-nam, who flew into Narita from South Korea on Sunday afternoon.

Kim, who has permanent residency, was told she had to wait in line with foreign visitors without visas. She waited for an hour before being told by a different employee that she could enter a separate, shorter line for permanent residents.

There you have it Take, despite all the signage in multiple languages and this bitches PR visa, K-girls need the same hand holding as the locals to tell them where to line up. (though you gotta love English on the signage for the two lines that aren't Japanese...I can already imagine the designer of the sign "Japanese don't speeku engrishu")
