The US military is funded by the US budget which is a huge deficit funded by borrowings of cash from China. Is that who you are referring to as assassination targets?

Assassination targets? What is it with people today wanting to kill people? The UK is rife with it - mostly but not entirely exclusively from the nationalist populist right wingers calling for death to all so called traitors.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

- Macbeth (Act 5, Scene 5)

china-side does anything to achieve their purposes, as you do know, taking advantage of the fact that j-side just can counter only by legal methods. although assassinating the local governor stands out too much and cause useless rebounds among the locals, no the locals care about being assassinated the goveners close advisers and the local journalists but it will be super effective towards the local establishments cashed by chinese.

Wouldn't exposing these Chinese bribes you speak of be more effective?

Master Sergeant Hector Trujillo was hit by a car in Japan moments after he came across a car crash on an expressway and pushed another man to safety.

Master Sgt. Trujillo has served for more than 20 years and is currently in a hospital bed at Naval Medical Center in a medically induced coma.

Trujillo’s best friend, Jason Texeira, said it was Trujillo’s selfless nature is what that landed him in the hospital.

Last Friday, the father of three and who is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan, witnessed a crash on an expressway and stopped to help. As he pushed a local man out of harm’s way, a car hit him.

Trujillo suffered a skull fracture as well as spinal injuries. He was flown from Japan to San Diego over the weekend.

seems like that the main okinawan papers almost ignored this incident.

A major Okinawan Paper is very much on top of this incident, and following things up in much closer detail than Fuji Sankei group were ever likely to.

Executive Summary: The Marines are denying that their officer was a good Samaritan, contrary to Sankei's rushed, and frankly breathless, reports of "news the two main Okinawan papers refuse to print!" In fact, the prefectural traffic police reported that the driver claimed from the beginning that he was helped by two Japanese.

For those who actually care, and I doubt that includes Takechan, Master Sgt. Trujillo has regained consciousness and is concentrating on rehabilitation. Sankei has evidently been respecting the primacy of his medical care because they have not once sought to interview or confirm the story with him.

needless to say, the local okinawa papers ignored these cases.

Sankei has more grace than I expected*
Sankei retracts, apologizes for story on Marine good Samaritan

I wonder if members of this forum will show similar grace.

* either that, or they are under unbearable pressure.

it does shows that, compared with asahi which took actual 13 years to at last acknowledge and apologize for their false report in 92 about comfort women, sankei is as honest and sincere as to quickly acknowledge and apologize for their one. everyone makes mistakes.
