Could be groundbreaking, though. Lots of 25-year-olds would change their age to 65, stop working and start to receive old age pension. Creativity in the Netherlands would skyrocket, while productivity in the traditional economy would drop; but who needs the traditional economy anyway, it's all infested by predator capitalists and, therefore, useless.

And nobody would date a boring 49 year old on Tinder anymore.

If I were 25, I'd be all for it.

...Denied...

BBC wrote:[...]

Emile Ratelband, still aged 69, wanted to change his birth date by 20 years to avoid what he called discrimination.

"We live in a time when you can change your name and change your gender. Why can't I decide my own age?" he said.

But the court disagreed, highlighting that many rights in law are based on a person's age, and changing it at will could cause many problems.

There was no legal basis to make such a change, it said.

I would say 69 is kind of a magic number...

In other words, who wants to be 49 when he can be 69?!?

Yep, plenty of reasons to be 49, especially if you have native American blood...

Never heard that one before but "Pow wow's" aren't exactly part of my tribe's heritage so figures.

I like this definition better:

When a man puts pop-rocks inside a woman's vagina and then proceeds to have sex with her, delivering a pleasurable sensation to both member's genitals. The term is derived from the "49ers" who prospected rocks in San Francisco in 1849.

OK, should I take it that the latter definition aligns better with your tribe's heritage, then?

Hum, I noticed pop-rocks used to be sold in Japan, but not anymore, even though they appeared to have been popular.

Did they suddenly fall under the narcotics laws?!?

I guess I shouldn't have anyone mail them from overseas. I can imagine I'll end up on the terebi for trying to import dangerous substances

Maybe he should emigrate to the Netherlands...

Cancel culture is gettin' ugly...you fuck up once, even if it's something in your past, you are unforgivable for life.

His handling of this is far from ideal but other then acknowledge what you did and admit you were wrong, apologize, and vow to be better, what else do you need from the guy?

Also....
