Costco has to provide an online option for their Japanese customers so they don't have to put up with all evil gaijin customers and that 80% of the staff at Costco is alien.

Nice! I hope it means smaller crowds. The gas is waaaaaay cheap but having to wait just to get in there sometimes is nuts.

Most likely Online Costco Japan will only offer non-perishable items from their Kirkland brand even though Costco online in the real world offers fresh items, grrr.

Holy cow, those chickens look so delicious!
At a party at my work place they bought such a chicken, and I was really surprised how well-prepared it was.
I saw on YT that Costco has its own chicken farms, and it is one of those companies that take their social responsibility serious. Seems they pay their employees decent wages.

Hence the love/hate relationship the locals have with it. Though the more local stuff they offer, the harder it is for the haters to resist.
