"Lost in Translation," a story of two lonely Americans who find friendship in a Tokyo hotel and "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" each collected three Golden Globe awards on Sunday.

Bill Murray won best comedy actor for "Lost in Translation," which also won best comedy film and best screenplay for Sofia Coppola, who wrote, produced and directed the film.

You know, I still haven't seen this, the mother of all movies for FG. Has it even reached Japan yet?

Lost in Translation will come to Japan of May Day of Golden Week.

However, the top-secret Caustic/PONGI/taro "JAPAN PREMIERE" was a great success. :P

Arrrrg...I slept 14 hours yesterday to recover from the 're-enacted' the movie. Yes! The 're-enactment' was so much fun we need to do 're-enacted' showings of "Lost Samurai" and "KillBilly" too!

Lost in Translation was really a great movie, had me rolling in tears for most of it. I love the escort: "Rip my stocking!"

Rumor has it that a few DVD copies are floating around Tokyo.

Not that I'd know how they got there. :wink:

I confirm the total success of the "reenactment". I'm ready for more "reenactments" anytime you are.
