That's not a weather forecast. It is your arrest warrant! How much snow did you say?

We got tickled by one that passed directly over Miyako the other day, and on it went to Best Korea.

I just hope it makes that sharp right turn when it is supposed to. Or earlier. Lovely late summer day today that I don't want ruined.

My toilet-room ventilation received a typhoon kancho, was quite a mess when I opened up the door and saw my shitter covered in several years of dust/lint.

Yes, can relate to that. Nagoya didn't get hit, but the typhoon blew all the stinky, sticky air from Tokyo down to us. And now we have to breathe that shit.

Let's give a warm hand to Typhoon number 19 "Fubar"* which is this year's latest worsest typhoon ever since the last worsest typhoon ever, shaping up for a trip along the Tokaido.

Yikes! After more than two years, are you still playing with LINCOLN LOGS®?

I guess it would not be wise to dangling logs off your boom truck during Typhoon Fubar.

That thing went from being a mere tropical storm to a cat 5 typhoon in mere twelve hours yesterday.

I think they're (not so original) Tanaka logs here....but yeah, can't get much done in the rain and the pups don't get to enjoy the trip if rained out

Hagibis, apparently.

Apparently, The Philippines' Village People had it named after them.

HOWEVER, at first glance I misread this typhoon to be named after the vicious-but-delicious wild Haggis, the Haggis scoticus, of Scotland.

Damn, this is serious.

Tokyo Disneyland said it would close its theme park on Saturday, its first weather-related closure since a snowstorm in 1984.

Ota Ward's PA speakers have shorted out from the flooding but when the speakers were working they were screaming to evacuate from 10am to 12noon. Here on the Tama River, I figure the absolute worst that will happen is that I will loose electric power---The water level still has 3m before the river comes over the "Super Levee" ...FUN!

Earthquake, Cat 5 Typhoon, and FLOOD!

Ota Ward is ordering me to evacuate now ...no longer a warning, yawn.

BRING IT ON!

Chiba had a tornado, typhoon, flood, and earthquake on the same day. 8-O

Wishing everybody well.

The motherfucker gave rain and wind here in Hyogo, but all manageable.

I am surprised how big it is, because it is still affecting weather here, while it is about to arrive in Tokyo.

Please, stay safe!
