Do you guys really not have a introduction thread? It makes me feel like you don't really want new users and would rather just slowly die as Reddit swallows all minor independent forums.
If that's the case, so be it, but I think an attempt to be relevant is worthwhile.

There is a 90% chance I've merely been unable to find the pre existing intro thread and therefore am an absolute fool.

Anyway, here's my introduction. I am Mothy. It's not my real name, but is a name I've experienced as a nickname offline before. So, much like my online persona, it's part real, part made-up. I teach English, but I like to think of alcoholic as my true profession.

If I remember correctly, Ultragaijin erased all info about himself on the FG forum including the new member treads in attempt to make himself more employable as a data janitor* in the film industry.
