FG: 'a place for people to keep track of who has died

Topic: Why does Japan attract so many unpleasant folks?reddit...r/japan/

there is a special place called fuckedgaijin.com* where the really bitter people can show up. Their grandeur plans of success peter out, cute j-girlfriend becomes j-wife and they lose the purse strings. They get stuck teaching eikaiwa as they can’t get past JLPT N3... and it is never their fault.

That is not what FG is at all, most of the people that have posted there came to Japan before 2000. These days it is just a place for people to keep track of who has died.

Not quite over the hill, but got a good view of the valley.

If someone is dead, they don't know that they're dead.
Their death only causes pain for others.
It's the same as being stupid.

I think we probably have less English teachers here than any other forum.

You're probably right.

Not an English teacher here either, and well beyond JLPT N3.

And alive as well, and not bitter.

Looks like some of those folks on reddit got a bit confused.

I am still alive.
For the first time in several years I can view FuckedGaijin during working hours as I am gainfully unemployed again.
Thanks coronavirus!

Thanks!
Better to lose my job than my mind (though that was lost a long time ago!)
Glad to see you're still here.
