I don't know about you but I sure as hell won't be riding any trains or doing the shoganai mambo in downtown anytime soon. All my trade shows/meetings are cancelled and I am working mostly at home...no restrictions needed to take some preventative measures but TIJ, some of my friends are being forced to work in crowded offices during this....
matsuki wrote:maybe the lack of restrictions will keep this burning all the way to the Olympics.

I am scratching my head over that too.
So I am wondering what Japan is doing right.
Or maybe their early action in closing schools and teleworking just put them on a delayed curve, but eventually the disease will hit them. Don't know, but it would be interesting to see how it plays out.
It appears that hospitals in Nagoya have already insufficient capacity, so they are asking neighboring hospitals to jump in.

My brother-in-law had all the WuFlu symptoms but only a "mild" case two days ago, He had to start prep for spring planting so he worked while being only a little sick.
He ASKED for a COVID-19 test three days ago and was scheduled for testing this afternoon (March 19). He died last night in the ambulance that he called for around 2am. The bummer was the ambulance drivers weren't trained (or licensed) to intubate him on route to the hospital. If I was there, I could have trached (tracheostomy) him with a pocket knife and BIC pen barrel as I have done in emergencies before ( I'm a certified EMT in the US).
My brother-in-law died because the "System" was dragging their heels on testing because of the fucking Olympics and PM Abe wanted to keep the COVID-19 numbers low.

I still believe there are far more infected without symptoms than we realize. Talk of 2 strains now, second wave starting in China...while a massive wave of Chinese fly back to China because the C-gov is pushing a "China defeated the virus! Safest place evaR!!" narrative. All the while the CCP officials are keeping their children out of "errtingzu fine! we most safe!" China.
The lack of testing means lack of data, meaning we're sill guessing....no bueno senor Abe. I was at the local mall yesterday and today (pet vaccinations) and while not as crowded as usual, plenty of people there, shops are all open, fewer mask wearing people.
The China virus? The Wu-Flu? Kung Flu?
How about CCP Virus?

wangta wrote:Heads up to everybody here - got a first cuz who's a doc back in Oz. Listen up, he told me home truths about Japan and he aint even live here. Japan is on the unofficial shitlist of the world and WHO has been fairly clear about this if you actually pay attention to what they've said about this cuntry that is proving Japan repeats history again and again cause the fascist cunts running it never learn.
They hide everything, they continue to hide and underplay what they did in the 20th century, what happened at Fukushima and the aftermath and they're hiding the spiking cases and they don't do autopsies.
You can assume that the 'clusters' they like to show in maps that give us no chance to avoid places where cases have infected people and are reaching momentum are deliberately underreported. The authorities don't give a fuck about their own people, far less about us. If they did their maps would list the areas instead of Tokyo To so we could make informed decisions about keeping away.
In Korea they let you know where the cases are so you can avoid the area. Yep they're being big brother there but at least they're not letting their people play Russian roulette. As for the Japanese with honourable exceptions like your wives, partners etc, they are fucking stupid cunts. I've never thought much of J IQ as they are great mimics and rote learners but as stupid as boxes of rocks when it comes to many things.
Most of the dumbfucks I've seen around Tokyo not my local area, are sitting close to each other on the train, sneezing abundantly without a care in the world cause of course it's kafunsho season and obviously it doesn't matter that you spray all your potential diseases around - ooh, it's just my allergy. They're huddled up close to people in the convenience stores where you eat your food cause there's no place on the street, staring at their phones and fucking coughing and sneezing.
They're still standing close to you anywhere, fucking stupid cunts. These mutherfuckers don't deserve any better cause they think now it's fine as the war criminal's spawn said there's no emergency. Guess what you POS - there will be no Olympics. The world will refuse to participate, this situation will probably get better only in October if we're lucky.
Fuck these facist POS and the mindless dumbarses who follow them.
