which says that she was tested at Narita, and she was confirmed to be positive, according to the health ministry.

I had to pull out of the southwest (near Da FUK), where I had been hiding away by the beach, and fly back home to help with my aged Mommy. The plane was ghostly empty, and the service was superb. Most of the reports about that stuff seems to come from Lunchbucket Larry Alternative News sites (aka Toxic White or Angry Saxon tinfoil hat news). Banning flights won't do much anyways, and anybody on them will be Cdn/PR, and they have a right of entry. The real problem with Those People will be next week when the cherry blossoms come out down the street from me. #Hanamidiots need to be corralled and leashed, regardless of their multiculturalific intersectional predispositions.

Yeah, someone needed to visit a doctor in the middle of Osaka so I agreed to drive there rather than they use the train. I asked about repeat prescriptions but nooooooo! and a referral to a local doctor just for this appointment but noooooooooo! I also asked them to request a much longer prescription this time and they met us half way on that. Someone else was returning to college in Kobe - They might end up isolated there rather than here and in much more danger but there are limits to what you can do.

The Bush level "Victory!" over the virus coming out of China can't be trusted while many Chinese are complaining online that they have symptoms and are being refused testing. This is legit concerning. That being said, the ones with means to fly to Canuckistan are less likely to be carriers who were refused testing and if they self quarantine upon arrival in the land of maple, it's not likely to cause a second wave. I agree with you, the large gathering in this time of lockdown is some darwin award level shit. The parks near me were packed with families and kids today....because papa is working from home. I think the only thing that will help here is closing the parks and possible extremely limiting public transportation.

Been there done that - No fun at all, and actually very poignant, but it really does have to be done. Safety first and all that - you really do need people on duty 24 hours a day. A fancy Old Folks' Home is worth every single penny in my experience. The peace of mind it gives and the fact no-one can pick stupid, insulting arguments with you when you need to make Power of Attorney financial decisions is absolutely priceless.
