You know who aint holding up well in J land? All those youtubers of all ages who float around here for years escaping work and having to grow up. Not talking about annoying but productive youtubers who 'introduce'Japan to the world'. Some videos are good for what they do though thank frick Icecream City in Ikebukuro closed so we never have to see another vid with someone 'discovering' the place.

There's an American youtube numpty who dyes his ratty locks red and calls himself a celebrity cause some basement dwellers back home draw fan art. He's now sobbing on youtube cause his workplace shut down. Not long ago he showed his bank account online with about 300 fucking yen. He's done that before, he's also had his electricity shut down live while streaming cause he couldn't pay his bill.

So you make jackshit in an exploitative eikaiwa, the scumbags showed you who they are already by your freelancer status, you didn't save any money, you never do, you lived off handouts from patreon etc, now it's all drying up. As people have commented on his vids etc, he can always eat out and buy expensive coffee and booze, fly off to comic con etc but then suddenly he needs money cause he's a 'creator and influencer'. Apparently this dropkick is in his mid-30s.

Hard work is hard. Leaving bullshitting about yourself in a room with students all day and getting paid tho it's not much is taking the piss for a living til something like this happens. Talking about our redlocked youtuber here. I was an English teacher took it seriously but left eikaiwa and work for a business company now, hours are long, you've got to be switched on, there's real pressure to produce results but it's the best move I made in Japan.

Actually, there is a place like that I visited in Iwate in Tono. It's a place where during famines the elders would work in the fields during the day but go up to a hill at night without really eating. Gotta reserve resources for the productive ones.

These people are really deranged and keen on direct action in what they see as self defence against a deadly threat. I joined a Facebook group for a while just out of curiosity. They are scary crazy people. It isn't just 5G that is harmful by the way, it is wifi and all other mobile phone technologies. However, they are convinced that 5G in particular is a military weapon which will be used to exterminate large sections of the population after we have all become lulled into a false sense of security by the less harmful technologies. It is microwave radiation and we all know what that does to food! And 5G is a much higher frequency as logic compels that the higher the frequency the more deadly it is. Linking it to COVID-19 is just the latest madness and for them but a short leap of faith. Anything that happens in the world simply feeds into the delirium and provides yet more evidence. These people are potentially as dangerous as religious extremists.

Funny thing is that microwave ovens use the 2,450 MHz frequency band, which is close to the 2.4 GHz of WiFi at many homes. These people must be freaking out already. LOL

The keyword is power, and regulations are made such that it stays well below safety limits as determined by research.

The higher frequencies of 5G are much easier absorbed by the environment, which is the reason why the cells defining the range around a tower are smaller. In fact, that is a problem facing the next generation 6G, which is already under discussion. The THz radiation being planned for use in 6G is so readily absorbed by humid air, that it is not clear yet how it would be useful other than for very short distances, like in indoor use. Needless to say, it is very hard to penetrate the body more than skin deep by THz radiation.
