Hitler admired Japanese racial purity (not enough to stop his minions from advising the Chinese in their war against Germany's Japanese allies, mind you).
It's a good thing they didn't get closer....if they had both simultaneously attacked the Soviets, World War II would have gone on much longer and the Bad Guys might actually have even won. Allied cuntries owe the Commie filth a big debt.

No "IF" in history...

The US had basically the ressources of the whole planet to build weapons for this war. The Soviets have proved against Napoleon that they don't have "surrender" in their dictionary. then events like the black thursday where big clues on where things were heading.

Of course, there's ifs in history. Where do you think Rambo and Platoon and all those other legacies of Dien Bien Phu come from?
I would have liked to criticize one of the presumed major bulwarks against the Nazis and Japanese for capitulating and collaborating instead of fighting, but ultimately it didn't really make much difference (except for dragging the Merkins into Indochina).

LOL, somehow the optics of the "martyrs" in this mess being criminals is not lost on the global media. No excuse for brutal policing but when you want others to relate/support a narrative that "it can happen to anyone" the cases you hold up shouldn't be the ones we're getting. Hell, most people don't even realize Rosa Parks was staged because Claudette Colvin wasn't the ideal person to rally behind.
