Gets video sumo!

Postby Caustic Saint » Fri Jan 30, 2004 7:59 pm

I've been doing blog updates to my site this week chronicling the trip to Japan. Today I finally got to last Friday, and that can only mean one thing:

SUMO!!

Click over to my page then follow the "Movies" link to get to the sumo fun.

There are four sumo videos up now (plus two other short, non-sumo, ones from the trip) and there'll be more soon. I have to go buy a big, external firewire drive tomorrow so I'll have enough space to work with the video I shot on the trip.

The Taro/Pongi/Lost in Translation gala event footage is coming!

(Speaking of which, if you were at Taro's and don't want to appear in any posted footage or pics, it'd be a good idea to PM/IM/email me and tell me so. This post serves as your official notice.)

I didn't know you had a blog, so I had a look. Interesting stuff, but you need to link to FG too!

I hadn't been updating it as often as I'd like, mostly because nothing too interesting happens where I live in Korea. The Japan trip gave me lots of stuff to write about, and I'm working on posting at least once a day until the whole trip has been covered. Hopefully that'll give me some momentum to keep writing.

As for the link, I'd thought of it, but since most of the stuff in my blog was Korea-only, it didn't feel like a match. Now that I'll most likely be getting search engine hits on Japan topics, I suppose I should, huh? :)

Speaking of search engines, that page you have on how people found your site regarding the search terms etc was hilarious (the way you described your finding out-I was laughing out loud), but also freaky that people are searching for that 8O :(. I mean how bad (and funny) was that when you said that your site came out at a number 1 and 4 in certain categories?! 8O You must have been surprised!

Yes, the pedo-riffic search terms are destined to haunt my site forever. I just went and checked the webstats for the life of my site (16 Nov. 2003 to now) and the #1 search term? "gay 12 year old boys"

Pump that through Google and one of my blog entries is the #5 result - out of about 470,000!

Clearly, I need more boring titles for my the stuff I post. :shake:
