how "Abarenjya" changed my life

Postby magickow » Sat Feb 28, 2004 9:15 am

Well, being a gaijin here in Japan I have been herded and cajoled into being an English teacher. I never thought that something named Abarenjya would affect my life but it has.

As I was teaching yesterday, my 4 year old students (who always do Abarenjya moves on each other including flying elbow drops) decided it would be funny to assault the teacher. All of them conspired to attack me, the horrid enemy, in the middle of a running game that we were playing. They suddenly turned on me like a pack on hyenas, and attacked, and one boys fist caught me square in the left nut, causing me to cripple in pain.
I knew I had to continue the lesson, but as I lie there in pain I swore that this would be my last day as Magickow sensei.

Now I'm worried about my future as a productive father. Is there some sort of therepy I can get for my little wonder nut? Would a good dose of "tea baggin" all I need?

Has Abarenjya affected your life?

If your pain doesn't pass relatively soon you might want to think about seeing a doctor - I've never had it last more than about 15-30 minutes from memory. But I'm no specialist. Just another lad with a few similar experiences.

Given the height of 4 year-olds, I would've thought this sort of injury would be a constant threat - what about using some protection and becoming a fearless Majicbull sensei ...
