vodaphone sucks..

Surely they won't rebrand everything? J-phone has a nice ring to it.

Wanna laff.

When I first saw the new 'international' J-phones (can be used and dialed worldwide) advertisements I said to Chisato wow that would be handy to have, what model are they?

She didn't catch the name on the TV so she called the local J-phone shop. The lady there said they were still pretty new but according to her manager they were called BO DA FONES. Chisato told me and I said 'huh' so she checked and yes the 'international' Keitai were called BO DA FONES.

Didn't make any sense to me but hey this is Japan so off I went to ask around for BO DA Keitais. Not much luck there until one day in the garden it dawned on me - they are not called BO DA FONES dummy they are BORDER PHONES. Makes perfect Japlish sense. Phones you can use internationally are called BORDER PHONES. :D

I was very disappointed indeed to find out they were actually called VODAPHONES. My carefully constructed rationale for the name change went up in smoke. :(

Wonder if I can copyright the name? :D

So someday soon non-professional grade digital cameras will become obsolete?

Not hardly. You'd have to have a 3-4 megapixel camera, a decent (3x or better) optical zoom and removable storage media.

I don't see all that getting crammed into a phone anytime soon.

Well how about a few with two megapixels, zoom, storage, GPS, FM tuner and TV capability

Five hot new 3G cellphones from Japanese carrier KDDI today, including one, built by Casio, that has a digital camera with a resolution of two megapixels. The Sony Ericsson handset can play back TV shows recorded onto a Memory Stick (presumably with the PEGA-VR100K, Sony's video recorder for handhelds), the Sanyo phone has a built-in FM tuner, and the Toshiba model can record video and then connect to a TV to watch it. All the phones feature KDDI's new EZ Navi Walk GPS navigation service, which offers real-time scrolling and voice guided directions, as well as a feature which help you figure out how to get back home if you get lost.

I don't get why Nokia has to have a different, non-standard layout on most of they phones they're making now. I'd imagine they're hell on one's 9-key typing speed.

Well I do believe you already have videos of me "giving it up!".. two of them in fact. Hey, wait a minute!! I gave it up for free those times.. I didn't realise I could charge you!!

hhmmm wondering if I can auction off the GomiBrother as well??

(I was going to explain the innocent nature of these videos, but nah.. I'll just let people wonder. Actually, maybe it will encourage people to go over the archives of your site!! )

Careful G.G. I'm thinking the 'slick' ones here just might figure out who you really are now..!!! Then again, theres like 100 programs there so might take them awhile. But, you had to go and blow it with that 'innocent nature' comment.

Next time lets get nasty..!!!
