My parents cable company just dropped the International Channel from their lineup.

 ANd just in this city. They replaced it with the Outdoor Life Network.

I could just drop kick those unhonorable unmentionalble unmentionables.

So no more anime in japanese, no more Fujisankei News.....
:shakeh:

This means that I'll have to buy digital cable from their buttmunching competitors to get my Japan fix.

Soon as I get a job. Thats about $100 a month. (including cable internet)

Not to sound like too big of a dick, but if you're still living at home, you should be focusing on bigger issues than what TV stations you get.

(If you're not living at home, and just mooch TV from your folks, my bad.)

I hear you. My sister just lost it too.

To add Telemundo.

Right next to Univision.

So she has to get digital cable to see the I-chan.

It used to be there was a Spanish channel and a Rest Of The World Channel.

Now there are TWO Spanish channels and no Rest Of The World Channels.

Does George W. Bush have a problem with Hey Hey Hey? It wouldn't suprise me....Image

Not too sound like too big of a dick, but everyone has bigger issues than what's on TV or the size of their gut. It's just a lot easier to let off steam about the little things, and more relevant to this website.

Okay, okay. I know the net is everybody's bitching place (hell, it's pretty much the reason I bothered to make my own site), but still.

I'm sure free anime was one of AO's simple pleasures, and a good way to get his mind off other things, but now that it's gone, why not use that time to get into a position where you can *gasp* buy the things you want instead of worrying where your next free fix is going to come from?

Because in order to buy things you have to work. And then you're like a little baby, dependent on the big boss man.

As opposed to being like a little baby, dependent on mommy and daddy?

Well, if you must KNOW. 2 years ago I got sick.

Lost my place, car, job, health, savings, credit.

ROCK BOTTOM.

Since that patriot act BS, its harder to get a job with f*cked credit. SO I'm staying with my grandmother who lives across the street from my folks. I was paying all the bills here until my money ran out. SO I use my folks internet and watch cable here. I should be getting a job at the community college tomorrow. At the interview it seemed like they had decided to hire me. Since I'm a student there, I can go to class, go to work and do my homework.

And yes, you were being a dick. Some people need to vent every now and then and I'm one of the LAST people on here to vent.
I mean, when was the last time anyone here can remember me venting? And I'm talking about those who've been here a while like ultra, TT, and GG

I, for one, am not judging you at all and I don't think 99% of the FG's are either. When times are hard people lean on family. And sometimes they lean on you. That's what family is all about. I'm glad you have someone there for you and I know that now that you're getting back on your feet you'll be there for them to return the favor. Good luck with your new job and your studies!
