Does anyone know the actual punishment for this type of attack in Japan? The article calls it a "sex attack," but it's clearly not a rape. And it would be her word against his as to what he intended to do when he pulled her behind that bush. It also doesn't say whether he actually struck her. I don't think they could send someone to the slammer for dragging someone behind some shrubbery. (Not that I'm advocating sexual battery. I'm just saying.)

Whilst reading about the above story my wife asked me if a knew about another story listed on wai wai.
TV station scandalized by serial rape of starlets

When i mentioned about him raping starlets she was suprised. The Japanese press had nicely not mentioned this fact. The raped were just plebes. The juicy part of the story was how asahi was broadcasting news of a serial rapist without knowing it was one of their staff.
F*ck me. How stupid. It would have been much more acceptable if they had been broadcasting whilst they knew about it!!!!!!!
