Edit.. I am guessing the tatoo is new as well? He wouldn't have had that during his Sumo days. Let us know the fight schedule.

Yeah, that's what 15 years of Sumo does for you... big arms.

His fight is on April 25th, and tickets are available now from the PRIDE website.

Maybe, if he's still doing PRIDE (I have no idea about this stuff, but Henry is enjoying it, so it must be good).

OK.

First: Why was he at your work?

Second: CS, you are wearing exactly the same blue striped polo/rugby top with white T-shirt underneath you wore to the FG party circa April 2003. 8O

How's that for a useless fact?

I think that if I were a geigh stalker, I'd be stalking someone hotter than CS. Got my standards you know 8O .....Geigh stalkers probably like people who change/update their wardrobe/couture too. However, when you consider the context, I guess he's dressed pretty well for someone who works in tech. We all know there's a lot worse.

Thanks AK  . I'm not as concerned about the whole thing now. I'm sure it will all be sorted out eventually. Image

My father-in-law is a supporter of his sumo stable (Tomozuna Beya), and when Henry entered Juryo rank several years ago, he commissioned a kesho mawashi for him:

Now that Henry's no longer doing sumo, he returned it to him. I think we may mount it on the wall in the office.

My wife complains about the same thing: that I own four long sleeve rugby shirts. That one I bought in Okinawa at a Brooks Brothers outlet store. I've been trying to find a replacement (I really like the style), but I couldn't find it at the Tokyo BB outlet.

I made the page for him, but the retirement ceremony was in February, so I took the link down.

His webmaster is a little slow on taking down old information. If I had time, I'd help him out with his site, but I'm pretty busy these days.

He also came to my wedding last year:

Thanks for the kind words. We have better wedding photos, but I haven't put them online yet. Those were taken with Henry's digital camera, and then he emailed me the jpegs.

Yeah, just teasing, I like to wear the same things over and over too. There's a few photos of me about over the years wearing my favourite polo shirts as well. It's a guy thing.

Great pic, cs.

I think cstaylor has long qualified for FG's "Most Transparent Poster" award, awarded to the least anonymous member of the FG community.

Exactly. Pongi never allows himself to be photographed unless he is wearing his costume.

Exactly. Pongi never allows himself to be photographed unless he is wearing his costume.

But that doesn't mean people haven't taken pics without his knowledge.

Not that I'd know anything about that sort of thing.... 8)

(But I might if Soviet Supreme offered me enough cash for Pongi's secret identity.)

So I watching the sumo over the weekend and the announcer said that there are no Ameicans at all in professional sumo now. Kind of surprising that the big Hawaiians didn't inspire a second generation. I wonder why. Plus, do you have any idea what Sentoryu is doing these days, CS? I'd be interested in reading about his experiences in Japan if he ever decided to write a book.

Worthless. It's not a secret any more. Rove has already heard it from a reporter!
