How-to bow

Interesting stuff about politeness in business in Japan described with flash animations.
I don't if it's till that relevant now maybe those of you working in big japanese companies could confirmr or infirm that.

Regardless what Mr. Big-in-Japan, Joi Ito, says, my huge Japanese Company, our JVs and clients use all that stuffy formality shown in the How-to bow. (See the other thread on the same topic Japanese-FG customs: 'Stop that. It's silly.')

As a "real" gaijin and not some anime-addled bunka-baka henna genji I don't have to grovel as much and they let me be myself. My feeling is that Japan is now about as formal as I remember my father's office in the 1950s or my first summer in France in 1965. The nothing "wrong" with How-to bow and the following those customs strictly won't hurt. The most iimportant point which I DAILY have to follow is the proper setting order in the conference room, shared taxi/limo and in a company party.
