I have a good job in the U.S.

I need Japan :)

I love this statement:

don't think I'll EVER live in Tokyo. I like it too much.

I mean......It's too darn easy to go and pickup some take out, and I ain't talkin about any tabemono here. It's too darn easy. I've seen it done and I've done it just passing through overnight.

I like women. I really do. However, I'm able to resist the temptation of the female form in moderate doses.

Tokyo would push me over the edge from casual observer to active participant.

You summed up why I want to go to tokyo... I want to be the active participant...

Did somebody else on this board experience the same?

I heard some stories about people going nuts here, I hope this will not be my case :-))

I've been following the blog of this poor FG, "oguradio" who is slowly going bonkers online. I love it!

Tokyo. I don't think it will last long.

I feel very uncomfortable working in Tokyo, especially when I have lunch.
I don't want to live in Tokyo. I won't.
There seems to be no sustainability in terms of foods on business streets.
I don't want to eat apparently unhealthy instant foods like gyudon, butadon, curry don, kakesoba, tempura soba, etc., repeatedly as a lunch every day.

Can urban workers have healthy and inexpensive lunch?

I has recently changed my job...
Urban life is very stressful.
I want to live slow in a rural area, but the whole society seems to be getting urbanized.

I went to Tameikesanno, Tokyo, on business yesterday

It is a business district and I felt very uncomfortable because of a lot of cars, concrete buildings and people in business suits.
I want to work in a less urbane place.

Closest thing to the panic attack feeling I had was in Umeda - Osaka. The sky maybe ugly in Tokyo crisscrossed by powerlines, but at least you can see it. What's the attraction with those awful underground malls?

Osaka is like LA? I never heard it had a smog problem.
