Auto Insurance?

Does anyone have any ballpark estimates for driver's insurance? I received a quote from someone that seemed a little high; 10,000/month, full coverage.

Sedan or small car, clean driving record, non crack-addict, etc..

The Japanese Drivers License site has a lot of info, but nothing that I see on insurance: http://www.japandriverslicense.com/arch_content/home

Any info is appreciated.

Try Sony Sampo insurance.. They'll give you an online quote. They were the cheapest I found.. but since my father-in-law knew someone at another company we went with them.. the price and coverage was about the same.

Thanks Booger.. I'll give them a shot..

Since I live far enough outside Tokyo, the parking isn't so expensive and it's easy to run to the hills..
