... Excited by the prospect of meeting her, the man went to the art gallery at which the woman said she worked.

The woman flattered him by telling him he had great taste and telling him he should buy a painting for his room. The man fell for the line and bought an 800,000 yen painting ...

The woman took him to a jewelry store, where she spent more than five hours persuading him to make a purchase.

In the end, he bought a diamond necklace with a price tag of about 1.2 million yen.

So, Taro, do you still have the necklace and painting ?

Sometimes people do that because they cant get the real thing.

Either because of a lack of social skills or they dont have a partner of the opposite sex handy.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

Not that I've tried the "cyber" kind but given the old joke that "the definition of eternity is the time between when you come and they go", I imagine that there must be some attraction to the idea that at any point during the event (or even just after), you can have them instantly out of your place (and life) at the push of a button.

I'm sure most have had at least one date where they wish they had such a button. Or, maybe they have been that date !

Wasn't there a quote from Charlie Sheen, when asked why a famous movie star like him used call-girls, that went, "I don't pay them to come over, I pay them to leave"?

Which one were you GG?

I almost cried while trying to read it, I laughed so much. Our office cleaner (who just walked in) probably thought I was having a breakdown or something. BTW I just noticed she now uses two bags to collect the recycled stuff and the garbage separately. Up until now the cleaners would just waft through the office throwing the carefully sorted stuff all into the one big bag
