NOVA and what just happened?

Postby lithonia » Sat May 01, 2004 7:13 am

I had a NOVA interview recently and it seemed to go fine. The interviewer asked some lame-o questions and said "company would be making a decision in ten days and letting me know". what is that supposed to mean? ...Go elsewhere for employment?
The guy was hard to figure out...he had such a poker face. :P

Beer bottles are earned through posting. More posts = more beer.

Avatars (those cute little pictures) can be set in your profile. Click the "profile" link at the top of the page to set yours up.

Happened to me a couple of times, but that was during the IT bubble of the late 90's.

It's really bad now; employers take so much time to make a hiring decision these days. The last job search I went through (2003) was a long, drawn out process. Answered many an online ad and had to wait months for a response (usually negative). Even employers who are interested take a long time and usually have to go through multiple layers of internal bureaucracy to justify a new hire. It just ain't 1999 anymore.
