McLeish calls for Scots ambassadors

SCOTLAND should have its own foreign policy and appoint ambassadors to Beijing, Tokyo and other world capitals, former First Minister Henry McLeish urged today.

He said Scots had to free themselves from the mindset that "all roads lead to, or through, London".
