Well, I figured it'd only be a matter of time before somebody developed a laptop with an optional keyboard and a some sort of a touch interface. The fact that it's very aesthetically pleasing and comes with some nice bells and whistles (i.e. the built-in WiFi adaptor) certainly doesn't hurt. The only drawback is that the battery lifetime still sucks, but other than that the machine sounds pretty sweet.

Where can I get this? And does it run a standard Windows XP OS? How would you reinstall it if you lost it? Cause I don't see an optical drive available? You have to rely on a crappy backup partition off the HDD and what if the HDD goes bad? Back to sony?

Yea after watching the video, the OS backup is installed in a partitioned space of the 20GB. The drivers, and some applications are stored there as well. I like how the resolution is totally customizable.

The BIOS is what really impressed me. I mean when he added the password to it with the touch screen, that was impressive. They must have been doing some major tweaking.

I want one of these so bad. I've been waiting for an ultraportable and this one blows the biblio and TR3 out of the water in that respect.

Would be nice to have had the cradle include an optical drive.. :D but firewire or USB 2.0 external will suffice. BUt with flash memory getting cheaper and well over the GB mark, who really needs a CD or DVD?
