TOKYO: North Korean leader Kim Jong-il may have been briefly admitted to hospital last year for treatment of intestinal problems, although he has now recovered, a Japanese newspaper reported yesterday.
The Tokyo Shimbun quoted "North Korean sources" in Beijing ... for treatment of "chronic intestinal inflammation".... the sources said Kim has long suffered from occasional digestive troubles accompanied by bloating and pain that force him to avoid certain foods.
