Could you imagine such a law in Japan?

Police propose anti-vomit laws
June 7, 2004 / NEWS.com.au, Australia
DRUNKS who vomit on streets in the Victorian city of Bendigo could be forced to clean up their mess under proposed new laws...
..... Bendigo spokeswoman Vanessa Wait said under the plan, people charged with antisocial behaviour would not be fined. "Instead, they are hit with a community-based order to clean up that particular spot," she said.

God I thought I could never return home for a moment, but then saw the magic words "Bendigo". My Kanda training won't be wasted at all :D

It's a great idea, and should be implemented worldwide.

Worst street pizza I ever saw was in Korea, during Winter 2003. Frozen street pizza. Some poor old cleaner guy at the shopping center (whose sidewalk said pizza had frozen to) was outside chipping away at it with a shovel, trying to clean it up. I'd have loved to see the salaryman out there cleaning up his own mess.

The worst street pizza I ever saw was every workday for 14 years.....I was treated to Cup-o-Noodles between the 16th and 21st step leading up to Todaido Line at Tokyo station.

Same noodles, same time, same steaming pile EVERY day.

Not so bad ---- except for the pigeons pecking at the puke.

I wonder if they are going to wait for the vomiter to sober up before they make him/her clean it up. I would hate to have to be the cop who has to supervise a person drunk enough to barf clean up the mess...

The worst puke I saw was a 20-something salaryman asleep in a massive pool of his own vomit in Shimbashi Station one Thursday evening.

The wackiest shit (pun intended) I saw was a drunk in Shimbashi who looked to be dancing. As I got closer, I noticed that he appeared to be stomping, and I thought he was trying to crush a mouse or something. As a got closer, I noticed a stupid-looking grin on his face and looked down to see what he was doing. I noticed a little bulge at the hem of his pants. Then a piece of shit popped out! 8O I then noticed all the other shit around his feet, and decided to quickly cross the street in case stupidity were a contageous disease. The tracks down the sidewalk the next morning where people had stepped in it were no less freaky. I'm glad to be out of that fucked up neighbourhood.
