not just banter; the subtitles accuratly translate what theyre saying..

but this seems somewhat staged - like for a foreign TV show
..but its from a Japanese homepage so it mustve been on Japanese TV?

Well, not entirely accurate. For the most part, yeah, the guy is trashing FGs and Aussies in particular, though the part about the swear words was a bit, ahem, misrepresented. Other than that, yeah, he basically says FGs overseas are FGs.

The clip is from an Australian comedy program "The Late Show" from the early 90's and has dated pretty well except for Tony Martin's clothes. DVD is in my desk at work.
