Wow...this would be the proverbial pipe dream. It should create a lot of jobs and then maintain them forever, because it will never be complete. That is the idea, isn't it?

I guess since Tokyo as a lot of people.....it must amplifie the heat twice. You guys have more population than us just in tokyo itself :? .

But you guys should feel lucky.....if you had the weather that we have in Canada...Montreal specialy....in summer you sweat like a pig whit a 35*C and in winter you freeze your ball's at -60*C (i guess more poeple would help in winter).

I can't stand the nature here :x .Need to fly away.... 8)

If you lived right here right now, and felt the intense daily heat and humidity of Tokyo, you would welcome just about any idea that would help.

Yeah, but:
Yujin Minobe, a ministry planner, said the average temperature cut is likely to be only around 0.4 degrees.

In Chicago it's usually around 35-37c in the summer (plus terrible humidity) and really friggin cold all winter with snow past your knees....I know it's a helluva lot worse in Tokyo in the summer, but I needed to complain about something....
