hi there, i'm technically not a f*cked gaijin. But i most likely soon will be. I'm 20 and i'm currently going to sanjose state university. I assume some of you f*cked gaijin might have forgot that san jose is in california  j/k.
I've been always trying to learn japanese in hopes to one day live and work there and experience the culture first hand. I intend of making use of my electrical engineering degree there if i'm lucky. I somehow stumbled across this forum while trying to find info about gaijin in japan. It seems like (after reading the post about " u in japan to long if") it's quite the experience. Despite commom belief, my interest in japan didnt start with anime(although i luv it) it started with the written form of japanese, it's soo cool. sugoi desu. I'm currently studying it in college, i've two more years left to get my degree (looong time) but hopefully when i do i can become a true FG, until then there is much i've already learned from the fg veterans on this forum.

That's cool. At least you don't want to relocate to Japan merely out of an interest in anime. Seems like you want to start a career here. While I wouldn't advise doing that, a combo of EE and JP sounds like a moneymaker anywhere you go.

Hello friends. I am not quite a new member because I have posted here before but not with my own account. Now I have my own account I thought I should at least introduce myself.

I am Chisato Mishima the wife of Steve Bildermann. I have my own website http://www.bodysculpture.org and I am a IFBB professional fitness competitor. I also own some training gyms and run a 'action movie' actors school.

Sorry if my English is a bit strange but I learned it from Steve and as you know he's a bit strange <smile> so please forgive me ahead of time.

Well that's it. Thank you for all your kindness to Steve.

I'm Paul Owen. I studied economics and and Japanese oooh way back in 1995. I have a Japanese wife and live in the UK.

I work in the ecommerce department of a trading company. Mostly doing programming bits. There's a thread somewhere where I had a bit of a barney with cstaylor about whether boxing and struts where better implemented in our respective programming languages. We got bored of that quickly.

Why do I hang around here? I don't an awful lot.

Here's a joke.

"New research by archaeologists recently revealed telephone lines 10 metres under the English countryside. The conclusion was that Britons were far more advanced than first thought 1000 years ago.

Not to be outdone, Scottish archaeologists have dug down 20 metres and found fibre optic cabling. They duly concluded that Scotland too was even more advanced 2000 years ago.

Always trying to better their lot, Irish archaeologists dug down 30 metres and found nothing. They concluded that as much as 3000 years ago, Irish people were using mobile phones ... "

Whoa, it's Chisato! Hey, how's it going? I liked the feature story covering your gym that appeared in the Tokyo Classifieds a while back.
