Look what I just received by email. This looks like fun! :D

It's hard to read, but it says there's a party with girls in bikinis and international guys from different industries like the media, etc. showing up at this thing. Bikini contest with prizes for the girls.

Venue is Shampoo, a club located across the street from TV Asahi and the Roppongi Hills Tsutaya/Starbucks.

Starts at 9PM, Saturday July 10th. 2000 yen/1 free drink for general admission. Women with bikinis in hand get free admission. 8O

EDIT: I have just learned from friends who are organizing this thing that the first place prize in the bikini contest is a free trip to Saipan.

Club Shampoo is a new party co-hosted by Phil Miller (of Pylon fame) and Kevin Clone (of TBS Kokogahendayo Nihonjin fame). But as with any party that Phil hosts, the only bubbles you'll find in evidence will come gushing out of a bottle of champagne -- not a bottle of shampoo. The venue for these rooftop barbecue bashes is Yaffa Organic Cafe, right across the street from Starbucks/Tsutaya in the Roppongi Hills complex. They are held every Saturday night 9 p.m.-5 a.m. and feature different DJs each week (alumni include DJ Juri [Gold Finger] and Robert Palmer [Spice]). Entry is 2,000 yen with one drink. 3 DJs lined up playing funky house music; one of the DJ's has been featured at Ageha and Yellow.

The buzz is on; I've been getting invites from multiple independent sources about this event. Any other FG's going?
