TOYAMA--A woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of inflicting head injuries on her daughter in May, which resulted in death four days later, police said.
Rina Kanda, 23, is suspected of beating her 2-year-old daughter on the head during a barbecue around noon May 2 at a park in the city of Toyama, they said.
