Summer bonuses for Japanese workers are up an average of 3.39 percent over last year, according to a local daily's poll Friday. . The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported that according to its survey, summer bonus payments for workers rose for the second straight month, with manufacturing jobs getting 4.28 percent more in bonuses than the previous year.
...The Nihon Keizai Shimbun said the average bonus payment would be about $7,200 this summer.
