Mini-riot in Kamiyacho

Postby gomichild » Mon Aug 09, 2004 6:26 pm

Man the buses have been up and down the road all bleeding day with their speakers blaring.

But it just got exciting a little bit ago when a whole crowd of them waving flags tried to break thru the police line so I ran upstairs and took some piccies:

kamiyacho under tension

Oh dammit the buses have started again...

It's been a circus around here all day. The right-wingers have been out in full-force trying to get to the Russian Embassy. For hours and hours and end they have driven past, blaring their msic and slogans.

These people are some big time looneys wanting to start trouble with Russia. Japan has island trouble with China, Korea and Russia. If it wasn't for America, Japan would be in for a big slapdown.

Soviet Supreme, you ought to go down there stomp some mudholes on their asses.

Wow, I saw them too!

I saw a looooong caravan of at least 30 military-style uyoku sound trucks, busses, vans, jeeps, etc., with patriotic music blaring, driving down the street on their way over to Kamiyacho around 11AM this morning. I also managed to take a few pics with my new keitai cam:

I was a little scared about taking pics right as the busses drove past me. Many of their vehicles were open-air, and I could see directly inside (which meant they could see me too). But I guess that's what you gotta' do to be a faithful FG supporter. :theeye: :D

Braver than me - I took mine from the 10th floor - but then again they were screaming and running around with big sticks - didn't want to provoke them....

Yeah, Koizumi cabinet supporters on a field trip.
They plant bombs, shoot bullets at hotels during the peace ceremony in
Nagasaki and indeed at politicians houses & extort money from companies. However, the mass media here never ever calls them TERRORISTS which is the only term for such right wing, extremist terrorist organizations.

You can always ride around like MacArthur on the 15th and see if they'll endure the unendurable a second time.

This is true--they are terrorists, and the cops and politicians are scared of them.

Cool shots. I've always wanted to get inside one of those for pictures. Guess I'll have to wait until they club me over the head and drag me in after filming them:
