Nachi is the character that Shun Oguri plays in the movie Azumi. And I know this because I wasted two hours of my life watching it.

I have no idea how he can appear in the sequel since Aya Ueto's character, Azumi, killed him within the first coupla minutes of the movie.

Nachi is the character that Shun Oguri plays in the movie Azumi. And I know this because I wasted two hours of my life watching it.

I just watched Azumi last night. It was watchable, but I can't say much more for it that that. Live-action aniime was all it was.

If nothing else, that movie should serve as a lesson to other directors who may want to try the same thing. Specifically, the stereotypical "insane villin badass with crazy makeup and a sword" does not translate well from drawing to person.

Oh, and now I know where I, Robot stole the stupid "spin the camera in a longitudinal circle around the action" idea from.
