Their marketing prowess and Taro's tastebuds are not in dispute, but the 'JapyTV' show, with Shingo sporting a lounge singer/pimp moustache, should be rated 'R' for redundant.

I'm having to read the Japanese subtitles to understand half of what he's saying in English, and all the set-up interviews are super...f*cking...tedious. :zzz:

Serves me right, I guess. Thought it had potential from the trailer. I never learn. :wall:

Why was the word 't-e-d-i-o-u-s' automatically replaced with the word 'deleted' in my last post? Can't change it. Is it on Ultra's hit-list of banned words for some reason...?

I agree I could barely understand what he was saying, especially the song. I hope to god they got paid a lot of yen because I don't think I could sit through that much without getting a big check at the end. A friend of mine used to be a member on the Beat Takeshi show, and he was just doing it for the money. He said most of the people were looking to break into the Talento field, so they tried to get on any show they could.
