FG Cocktail Recipes

Anybody care to share recipes for f*cked cocktails?

I thought I would start off by posting one of my favorites from Omae Mona's Pocari Sweat Series.

MIDORI SWEAT
1.5 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
Pocari Sweat

Fill rocks glass with ice. Add Midori. Top off with Pocari Sweat.

Serves 1.

U-high

The U-high is equal parts:

Polish potato vodka
Grape Chu-hi

Pour over rocks.

Gets "U-high" very quickly....

Well, I'm a bit partial to the old school - note the ingredients and 1:1 mix ratios...

Godfather
An American Italian cocktail.
30 ml bourbon whiskey
30 ml amaretto


Or
Godmother
1 oz vodka
1 oz amaretto

Build over ice in a rocks glass.
Top with some crushed ice (snow fine).

I gotta agree, really. But I guess people go through phases. I decided I was a whiskey and water man a few years ago and that was all I drank, besides beer. Then I started with the occasional gin and juice. Now I'm doing tequila shots. Then tequila with vegetable juice and tabasco. And wine. I started going through bottles of red wine. So who knows Sam, in a few years you may start mixing sissy drinks. Life's all about change. But I would be ashamed to order a green or blue drink in a bar but then again last time I was in the states I drank frozen margaritas and by God they're green so what can I say. I think I'm gonna knock a few back right now.

This cocktail always seems to finish me off. It's important you get the ingredients in the correct order

(1) Reasonably good day at work
(2) Plan for a quiet night, get a DVD to watch
(3) Phone call from a friend who is unexpectedly free and fancies a quick bite to eat
(4) Enjoyable meal, finishing early as you both have work the next day
(5) Wallet reasonaby flush
(6) Memory of a good bar you heard about and wanted to drop by for a nightcap
(7) Warm, fuzzy feelings of conviviality
(eight) Realization that the last train has departed
(9) Realization that another bar "up the road" usually gets going after the last train has departed
(10) Self-inflicted delusion that work the next day is only routine stuff
(11) Flawed reasoning that you can learn a lot about people in bars
(12) Rationale that "bars" is plural so the more the better
(13) Theory that you can always make up for lack of sleep the following night
(14) Decision that a bowl of ramen makes the perfect end to a perfect day.

Actually my fave cocktail at the moment.. don't gag as it is pretty damn good - surprisingly.

Hey, I asked for f*cked cocktail recipes. Did I ever claim I was using my recipe for anything other than getting the missus liquored up? :D

Personally, I go through more whiskey, served straight up, than anything else by far. Most of that is just for rinsing when I brush my teeth in the morning. The rest typically consumed along with a good Cuban cigar. But non-fucked booze is a topic for another thread.

Over the past several months, I've gotten into shochu on the rocks. Anyone ever had "tantakatan"? It's shiso-flavored shochu. Damn good stuff. And makes the chicks happy, too. :wink:

I really like the shisho flavoured shochu.. it is fantastic.

But I can only drink "good" shochu on the rocks as the cheap stuff is so nasty it really needs a mixer to take away the eau de formaldehyde.

Right you are Taro. It is not "Grape" chu-hi, it is Chardonnay Sparkling that should be in the "U-high", which is always in stock at the Pongi Palace of Pleasure.

Thanks for the correction. We need someone to compile a book of these recipes, no?
