... abstract images of ramen noodles, exploring ideas relating to Japanese pop culture, ethnicity, immigration, and "the cult of the noodle" .....the instant ramen noodle has an important place in Japanese pop iconography, and its significance is growing in the U.S. as well. Esthetically, I see the beauty of controlled chaos in these wads of noodles.
