VoIP works in Kansai Int'l!

Postby GridReaper » Wed Sep 22, 2004 4:29 pm

Okay, I just landed in Kansai Int'l and the first thing I did was call my friends with Vonage's softphone (which I installed on my iBook last night).

Evidently, the free WiFi here is good enough to make some decent phone calls (to Japan and US) and my iBook G4 (800 MHz) is powerful enough to handle it.

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to make cheap phone calls to the USA.

Tip: Get your friends on the service (no matter where they are in the world) and you can call them practically for free.
