Does anyone know what percent of your income they take for deductions (Pension, Tax, Ward Tax, Health, Etc.)??
I am just dying to know.

I mean for example how much do I have to make to get

 300,000 yen take home?
 400,000 yen take home?
 500,000 yen take home?
 600,000 yen take home?
 700,000 yen take home?

Is the curve steep in Japan, meaning once you get to a certain point they take more and more in taxes to where your take home doesnt change much?

I have been contract and getting paid cash w/out deductions so I dont really remember...
If anyone can give me some kind of ideas I would appreciate it. TIA

OMG - Thats high. Guess you cant get rich in Japan if this is true:

0 - 2 million: 15%
2 million - 3.3 million: 20%
3.3 million - 7 million: 30%
7 million - 9 million: 33%
9 million - 18 million: 43%
anything over (yeah, right): 50%

Then what are dependants worth??? Anyone know?
