A man protesting at the Japanese government's lack of progress in talks with North Korea set his car on fire outside a gate to Japan's parliament building on Thursday, witnesses and media said. ..
Police arrested a 54-year-old man claiming to be a former member of a right wing group for arson, Kyodo news agency reported.
He was angry at the failure of the Japanese government to make progress in talks with North Korea over Japanese citizens abducted by the secretive communist state decades ago to help train its spies, Kyodo said.
