The point is Mr. Sparkle posted pics of himself around the internet. So which one is he talking about? Seems to me the the pic could have come from anywhere on the net including this website. I am suspicious of what he says.

Thanks Hanakuso. It's true, I'm Rob's personal friend and collaborator. He's a complex and interesting individual and I'm proud to have had him as a friend for around 15 years. Rob rocks. I've done music with him and video making and it's always been a total blast. I'm not his manager, but Rob has a small army of support staff to keep his machine rolling in a positive direction.

I actually enjoyed the YD forum for a short time, but they really didn't like my rants about how cool Pongi is. I can understand it, but I don't agree with it. I was passionate, and it got old with them. I can dig that. I'm a freak.

Rob Pongi is a brilliant freakin' individual. Love him or stand the fuck back. He's about to take over Hollywood with Field Marshall Sparkle holding up the beachfront. Or didn't you get that issue of Rolling Stone proclaiming his undisputed bad-assedness? That shit is for real. I myself can't believe how big our favorite attention whore is getting.

You can't deny it. Pongi is a self-promoting, bloggin', podcasting maniac. I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump the shark.

This Young Dude shit could be interesting but I haven't figured out that board yet. Not very user friendly like this one. Except this one is boring like hell.

bikkle wrote:I never had anything against YD, it fills a certain niche. I used to check it out every now and then and they had some funny/evil shit, but one of the guys who runs the joint was a bit of an ass in the early days of FG. They also have a very long-running grudge against Rob, which I guess they carried over to FG by association. And if you want to talk about cliquish forums, they've got the prize for that. Needless to say, I haven't bothered with it since.

That's pretty much my take on it. I found the site several years ago and thought most of the posts were hilarious. When I went back a few years later, there seemed to be more politics and pontificating. It just didn't fit the young dudes theme the way it originally had. I also noticed a tendency to police certain points of view. I haven't bothered going back. I like this forum.
