Nagoya ITS conference encourages active audience participation
"ITS for Livable Society'' is the theme of an international gathering on intelligent transport systems (ITS) that kicks off today in Nagoya. Open for the first time to the public, the 11th World Congress on ITS will revolve around three main pillars: safety, sustainability and accessibility/comfort.
The conference, designed to be a springboard for the second decade of ITS, comes at a critical crossroads [groan] in which systems are making the transition from the development stage to implementation.
