Postby kamome » Fri Oct 22, 2004 5:38 pm

Everyone, come to another great party at Shampoo! Wear your costumes and get a 1000 yen discount on admission! Prizes awarded to men and women for best costume. And DJ Duck Rock will be featured on the decks.

Thanks to GuyJean for hosting the flier on TokyoDV:

Happy Halloween at Shampoo, Saturday Oct. 30, 10PM until sunrise

Shampoo is located across the street from the Tsutaya at Roppongi Hills in the same plaza as Casita Restaurant and Mod's Hair. It's on the 3rd floor and shares space with Yaffa Cafe.

Latest news for the Halloween party at Shampoo, Saturday Oct. 30, 10PM:

1) Free t-backs will be given out to girls with the sexiest costumes (as determined by me and a few friends). I'm not joking. This will be part of the costume contest that will be held to determine the "King" and "Queen" of the night. :D

2) This party is sponsored by Rubie's costumes, so a few free killer costumes may be given away as well (I would provide a link to their site, except it is currently under renovation).

3) The feature DJ of the evening, Duck Rock, will also be performing at the Metropolis Glitterball this Wednesday with Mike Mckenna. Should be a great lineup for music.

So what is everyone dressing up as for Halloween?

Turnout wasn't great due to rain. But Guyjean actually made it (and got to see me get teary-eyed). Thanks for coming out, dude!

Not much of a "scene", unfortunately. It turned into a private party because of the low turnout. Perfect storm: horrible weather plus every club in the city competing for warm bodies that night. I still had a great time, though!
