I`ve been here many years now and are noticing an upward swing in (mostly) unreported sex crimes...by japanese not foreigners as the media would have us believe.

I know its only waiwai but there does seem to be a real lack of sympathy for women as victims of crime in japan.

seen it before havent we! take the history, widespread rape porn, human trafficking, superfree and the PM accusations ....and the question remains.

Wouldn't a better question be, "Since Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese have a common genetic history running all the way to the Japanese royal family, does that change your view of genetics and criminal activity? In addition, wouldn't it make perfect sense for a Japanese criminal to feign poor Japanese-language skills in order to throw off the police?"
