X-mess Ales

Postby mr. sparkle » Fri Nov 05, 2004 5:44 pm

What is your favorite X-mas Ale?

I just got back from a "tasting"! 8O

Over 32 brews were sampled.

Anchor Xmas Ale rated high
Sierra Nevada has quite a bite

Since N.Y eve is such a drag, I suggest a FG xmas ale "tasting"!

Good fun.

Beer is for laborers who can work off the calories as sweat, and hippies who like to pretend they have solidarity with the workers. Someday you'll grow up to be a man, you'll get tired of exercising your kidneys in the toilet all evening, and you'll learn the virtues of hard liquor. I promise I'll buy you a round of Jameson's on my next trip to SF.

Hmmm, don't you and Mr. Sparkle bump into each other in the Real World frequently? When I've compared notes with Sparkle-san, it seemed like we knew all the same people (Apple-freaks comprise a small world).

For Good Times,
Make it Suntory Time

You are sitting quietly in your study. And then there is a bottle of Suntory whiskey on top of the table. You understand, right? With wholehearted feeling, slowly, look at the camera, tenderly, and as if you are meeting old friends, say the words. As if you are Bogie in "Casablanca," saying, "Cheers to you guys," Suntory time!

As far as drinks go, anything with umbrella in it suits me fine.
